Fresh Flowers {Day 27: Bouquet}

I’ve never been much of a roses fan…they just don’t appeal to me (which my husband is particularly thankful for come Valentine’s Day!) but a bouquet of fresh flowers?!?!  Oh they are my FAVORITE!

Star Gazer Lilies and Gerber Daisies tie for first but after that I truly do think they are all incredibly beautiful.  I love having a few in a vase here and there – I love the way they smell and the way they just liven up a room.  When I see them they seem to lift my spirits and make me smile.

Bouquets of fresh flowers also always make me pause.  Reminding me to notice – to be aware of how much detail He took the time to put into each one of His creations.  Flowers that spend more time growing than they do in bloom.  The precise coloring on daylilies and the brilliant shades on a hibiscus.  The gentleness that baby’s breath seems to hold and the silent strength of sunflowers.  Each made differently, yet important enough to indeed be made.

Luke 12:27 Consider how the lilies grow: They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his glory was adorned like one of these.

How much more so does He care for us?

This is Day 27 of the Write 31 Days Challenge.
